Q: I am logging into my member page and I don’t see any content.
A: It’s best to access content from a personal device. When accessing our site either from a work device or inside a work network, many times non-work content is blocked so our site (and many others) might not work. VPNs can also block content from our site and can be configured to allow it if you have permission to change the settings (on a work device you may not the authority).

Q: I use a VPN and am having trouble accessing parts of your website or the member page.
A: Here are some ways you can configure your VPN to allow content from GiaPrism.com:
Why VPNs can block access to some sites:
When a VPN is on, all or most of your web traffic is routed through the VPN provider’s servers instead of your normal internet connection. Many websites now detect and sometimes block traffic from VPN IP addresses to reduce abuse, fraud, or automated traffic. If GiaPrism.com works when your VPN is off, but not when it’s on, the issue is usually one of these:
-
The specific VPN server/IP you’re using is being blocked or rate‑limited.knowledgebase.pcmatic+1
-
The VPN’s security or ad‑blocking features are filtering something our site needs to load (scripts, trackers, etc.).sites.google+1
-
Your company or organization has strict VPN policies that prevent access to certain external sites.axionetworks
In many cases, you can fix this by adjusting your VPN settings—if you’re allowed to change them.

Quick checks before changing anything:
-
Try opening GiaPrism.com with your VPN off.
-
If the site works with VPN off, the VPN is very likely the cause.
-
-
Try a different browser or a private/incognito window.
-
This rules out cached data or browser extensions.
-
-
If you’re on a work computer or work‑managed VPN, your IT team may intentionally limit what you can change.
-
In that case, skip to the “If you’re on a work VPN” section below.
-
Things users can try in their VPN app:
If you manage your own VPN (for example NordVPN, ProtonVPN, ExpressVPN, Surfshark, etc.), these steps are generally safe and often fix the issue.
1. Switch VPN servers (locations)
Sometimes only one VPN server or region is blocked, while others work fine.
What to do:
-
In your VPN app, disconnect.
-
Choose a different city or country, ideally close to you for best speed.cnet
-
Reconnect and try giaprism.com again.
If the site starts working on another server, just avoid the original server in the future.
2. Change the VPN protocol
VPN apps usually let you choose between different protocols (e.g., Automatic, OpenVPN, WireGuard, IKEv2). Some networks and sites behave better with certain protocols.
What to do (names vary by app):
-
Open your VPN app’s Settings or Connection section.
-
Look for Protocol or VPN protocol.
-
Try switching from “Automatic” to another option like OpenVPN TCP, OpenVPN UDP, or a WireGuard‑styleprotocol.knowledgebase.pcmatic+1
-
Reconnect and test giaprism.com after each change.
If one protocol works while another does not, stick with the one that works when visiting our site.
3. Turn off ad‑blocking / “Threat Protection” features
Many VPNs include built‑in ad‑blocking, tracker‑blocking, or “Threat Protection” features. These are useful but sometimes block legitimate content or scripts that a site relies on.
What to do:
-
In your VPN app, look for options labelled things like:
-
“Threat Protection”, “Web Protection”, “Tracking Protection”, “CleanWeb”, “NetShield”, etc.reddit+1
-
-
Temporarily turn this feature off.
-
Disconnect and reconnect the VPN, then reload giaprism.com.
If the site works with this feature off, you’ve found the cause. You can either:
-
Leave that feature off when visiting our site, or
-
Use any “allowlist/ignore list” feature in your VPN app (if available) to allow giaprism.com while keeping protection on for other sites.
4. Use split tunneling (let giaprism.com bypass the VPN)
Many VPN apps support split tunneling, which lets you send some traffic through the VPN and some outside it. This is often the cleanest solution: you keep your VPN for everything else, but let giaprism.com use your normal connection.
Depending on the VPN, you can exclude either:
-
Specific websites/domains (giaprism.com), or
-
Specific apps (e.g., your web browser).
Typical steps (names differ by app):
-
Open your VPN app’s Settings.
-
Look for Split tunneling, Bypass list, or Exceptions.
-
Add your browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge) or giaprism.com to the “do not use VPN” list.
-
Save, reconnect the VPN, and try our site again. This approach is especially helpful if the site needs your real IP or if the VPN IP ranges are being blocked.
-
Try different DNS or disable custom DNS in the VPN
Sometimes DNS (the system that turns names like giaprism.com into IP addresses) causes issues—especially when the VPN forces its own DNS servers.
Common options:
-
In your VPN or system network settings, switch DNS to a public resolver like Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) if allowed.
-
Or, if the VPN is forcing a custom DNS that causes issues, set DNS back to Automatic and reconnect.
If you’re not comfortable changing DNS, skip this step or ask your IT/support person.
If you’re on a work or school VPN:
If this is a company or school‑managed device or VPN, your organization may intentionally restrict what you can do for security and compliance reasons.
In that case:
-
You might not be able to change protocol, DNS, or split tunneling settings.
-
Some sites can be blocked by company firewalls or web filters, even if they’re legitimate.
Your best path is to:
-
Contact your IT helpdesk or network administrator.
-
Tell them:
-
You use a VPN managed by them.
-
You need to access giaprism.com for work.
-
The site works when the VPN is off (if that’s true), but not when it is on.
-
They can:
-
Adjust firewall rules or web filters to allow access.
-
Whitelist giaprism.com in any security or VPN policies.
-
Provide an alternate VPN profile that allows the site.
If they confirm access is intentionally blocked, you will need to follow their policies and may only be able to use the site from a personal device or network.
